This is my interpretation of a Kimono style dress with hand embroidery that I designed on one, and machine embroidery on the other using the "Dainty Design" disk from Martha Pullen.

The Rose Lee
Featured in Sew Beautiful Magazine May-June 2006. I designed this smocking plate to have that antique look that my dear mother, Rose Lee, would have loved. This is in honor of her and the time she took to teach me the love of handwork.
